Programme Overview: "Facilitator Training School Staff Wellbeing: Thriving Through Challenges Programme" is a tailored wellbeing programme designed specifically for headteachers and school mental health leads to support and empower their staff. This programme is delivered over three one-hour sessions per school year, integrated into existing staff meetings. It provides practical tools and activities that promote stress management, enhance morale, and foster a positive work environment, ultimately leading to healthier, happier, and more resilient school staff. Programme Goals: - Enhance Wellbeing: Equip staff with strategies to manage stress, improve their mental health, and boost overall wellbeing. - Promote Collaboration: Foster a sense of community and teamwork among staff members through collaborative activities. - Encourage Reflection: Provide opportunities for individual reflection to promote self-awareness and personal growth. - Retain Talent: Address the challenges of staff retention by creating a supportive and positive work environment that staff look forward to being a part of. - Meet Ofsted Criteria: Align with Ofstedās focus on staff wellbeing and mental health, ensuring your school is recognised for its commitment to a supportive work environment. Programme Features CBT Integration: Cognitive Restructuring: Staff learn to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, replacing them with positive and constructive ones. Stress Management Techniques: Practical exercises such as Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and deep breathing are incorporated to help staff manage day-to-day stressors effectively.
